Crafted by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, one of the nation's foremost environmental golf architects, Sterling National opened in 1991 to rave reviews, including #11 on Golfweek Magazine’s Top 15 in the State. This 6,666-yard track combines challenge, satisfaction and unparalleled beauty.

The 260 acres of nature preserve and wetlands and carefully managed mix of wildflowers, native plantings and colorful landscape elements qualified Sterling National as an Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuary – one of only five courses in the state to earn the honor.

It is a spectacular backdrop for Dr. Hurdzan’s championship layout – with five sets of tees to challenge every player’s skill. Each hole boasts its own personal identity, and no one hole intrudes on any other. Playing this extraordinary course is pure golf enjoyment. It is supremely playable – with 200 holes-in-one scored since opening.

It's no surprise that Sterling National Country Club is among the most sought-after private courses in Massachusetts.
