Description

At O'Bannon Creek Golf Club, golf is our priority! Our club is private and wholly owned by its members with the primary goal of enjoying the game of golf. The club opened in the summer of 1976 and over the years has played host to numerous local, state and regional events. O'Bannon Creek Golf Club is located in a secluded, quiet setting - away from roads, businesses and intrusive housing.

Our course is a traditional parkland design, set in beautiful natural surroundings. It was developed by the Club's original charter members and was designed by Dennis Acomb, a native of Cincinnati.

The par 70-championship layout has four sets of tees that stretch the course from 5004 yards at the forward tees to 6536 yards from the championship markers. The mature wooded course has beautiful views, large greens and non-parallel fairways. Most of the fairways are wide in the landing areas, but the approach to the greens requires a precise iron game. Besides the numerous natural hazards, there are five holes with water in play and strategically placed bunkers to keep the golfer's attention. The undulating and sometimes severely sloping greens when combined with green speed makes putting touch a must to score well.

O'Bannon Creek is much more than just a golf course. It's a place where golf skills are challenged and improved. It's a place...where warm enduring friendships flourish around an outstanding centerpiece of golf!

Amenities

Aside from the scenic course, O'Bannon Creek Golf Club offers a full service, modern clubhouse with many services and amenities. They include: an award-winning pro shop and staff, casual and fine dining opportunities in our main dining room, grill room or covered veranda overlooking the course, private meeting rooms and party and banquet facilities, large locker rooms and year-round club cleaning and storage.
