Description

Shepherdstown´s only country club community offers the tranquility and natural beauty of a rural setting, in an area renowned for its history and cultural amenities. At Cress Creek you can relax among friends and family in a private, yet casual club atmosphere, and enjoy outstanding recreational and social opportunities. With an 18-hole championship course, golf remains a focal point, but there´s much more for members: a swimming pool complex, indoor-outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts, exquisite dining, and a variety of year-round social activities. The course at Cress Creek is simply breathtaking. Experienced architect Robert Elder skillfully molded 220 acres of lush rolling terrain into a course that is challenging and rewarding. Reaching to the dramatic Potomac River cliffs, the course is punctuated with glistening ponds, rambling streams, white sand bunkers, elevated tees, and finely manicured bentgrass greens.
